SweatWords, LLC (“SweatWords,” “We,” “Us,” “Our”) provides a mobile fitness and wellness application designed to help users complete daily micro-workouts. This Privacy Policy explains how We collect, use, disclose, store, transfer, and protect personal information when You use the SweatWords mobile app (“App” or “Software”) or interact with Us.

If You do not agree, You must not use the App.

• Help & support messages (including contact number if provided)

Through analytics and device telemetry (e.g., Firebase / Crashlytics):

• App activity and usage statistics (streaks, workouts, achievements)

C. Subscription & Transaction Information

Provided by Apple Inc. through in-app purchase systems:

• Subscription tier and renewal status

• Purchase receipts (SweatWords does not receive or store payment card details)

We do not knowingly collect sensitive health data such as medical diagnoses.

2. How We Use Personal Information

We use information to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the App

• Track Your workouts, progress, and achievements

• Enable social features such as Groups and Leaderboards

• Personalize content and notifications

• Provide customer support and respond to inquiries

• Perform diagnostics and analytics to enhance the App experience

• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell or “share” Your personal information for targeted advertising.

3. Public Profile, Leaderboards & Community Visibility

Some information may be visible to other users if You participate in social features:

Visible to others inside the App:

• Username

• Profile photo

• Workout statistics (sets, streaks, achievements)

• Group participation

• Leaderboard position

If You do not want others to see such information:

• Do not join public groups, and/or

• Request deletion of Your account at any time

Parents/legal guardians are responsible for monitoring use by minors ages 13–17.

4. Legal Basis for Processing (EU/EEA Users)

We process Your personal data based on:

• Contractual necessity (App functionality)

• Legitimate interests (analytics, security, service improvements)

• Consent (optional features such as notifications and profile photo)

All service providers must comply with contractual privacy and security requirements. We do not share personal information with advertisers for behavioral marketing.

6. Data Storage, Security & International Transfers

Personal data is stored on servers located in the United States.
 

Firebase may process data in other compliant jurisdictions. We implement commercially reasonable safeguards to protect user data, but: No system can guarantee 100% security. If required by applicable law, We will notify You in the event of a data breach that is likely to result in a high risk to Your rights and freedoms.

7. Children’s Privacy

The App is intended only for users 13 years and older.

​

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

​

If We learn a child under 13 has used the App, We will promptly immediately delete associated personal data.

Parents may contact Us to request deletion of a minor’s account.

​

8. Subscription and Payment Information

Premium Hive subscriptions and purchases are managed entirely through Apple’s in-app purchase systems.

Apple controls:

• Payment card processing

• Refund evaluations

• Subscription management

​

SweatWords does not receive or store credit card numbers or banking details.

9. Data Retention and Account Deletion

​

We retain Your information for as long as Your account is active or as needed to provide the App.

​

You may delete Your account at any time in the App settings.

​

Upon deletion:

​

• We will delete or permanently anonymize personal information

• Anonymized or aggregated data may continue to be stored for analytics and product improvement

• Leaderboard data may remain only in anonymized form

10. Your Rights

Depending on Your location, You may have the right to:

• Access, correct, or delete personal information

• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

• Object to processing and request restrictions

• Request a copy of Your data (data portability). We may request verification before acting on such requests.
